Using my car as a vehicle, a journey in search of complication. See project website for extensive documentation.

October 2009: Six-month process of paint/graphics removal and gray primer coating begins.

April 2010: Gray painting complete. 500 miles to Smyrna, Tennessee, to the factory where the car was built. New hubcaps installed.

May 2010: Dust saved from sanding process combined with oil to make ink. Edition of 243 prints produced. (19”x12.5” each)

August 2010: 1500 miles to Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah.

September 2010: Pop-Up Art Loop installation on view at 33 W Randolph Street, Chicago. Mentioned in Chicago Tribune.
